Britt Rathbone is a clinical social worker, therapist, author, and educator with over 30 years of experience dedicated to helping adolescents, young adults, and their families. He is the founder and director of Capital Youth Services in the metropolitan DC area, and is known for compassionate, effective work, particularly with adolescents who are suspicious of or resistant to therapy. Britt teaches graduate students and leads national trainings for mental health professionals and has authored several influential books, including DB T for At-Risk Adolescents, What Works with Teens and Parenting a Teen Who Has Intense Emotions.
