Join us for PDA North America’s self-paced PDA Level 1 Training (Social work CEs available) designed to provide essential insights and practical strategies for supporting  PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance/Pervasive Drive For Autonomy) individuals.

✅ Level 1 PDA Training for Parents & Professionals – This training is a pre-recorded self-paced course at all times on the PDA Learning Lab. Whether you’re a parent, educator, therapist, or simply want to learn more, this foundational course will give you the tools to better understand and support individuals with PDA. 

🎓 Led by three late-diagnosed autistic expert trainers with both clinical and lived experience, these sessions provide guidance and real-world applications to help you navigate the complexities of PDA with confidence.

Two Training Levels to Fit Your Needs:

🟢 Level 1: PDA Essentials (Open to Everyone)
This introductory training is ideal for parents, caregivers, educators, therapists, and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of PDA. You’ll learn:

✔ Why traditional approaches often don’t work for PDA individuals
✔ How to reduce anxiety and improve collaboration
✔ Practical support strategies to implement right away

We are no longer offering a Level 2 training but are creating new deeper-dive trainings geared toward parents and professionals.

Yes, we offer scholarships for virtual attendees of ALL of our events and trainings. We do not turn anyone away from attending the virtual event. If you are in financial need, please contact us with what is affordable for you: info@pdanorthamerica.org 

We do offer Social Work CEs through NASW for our trainings (the following states do not accept National CE Approval Programs: New Jersey, New York, West Virginia. The Following Board does not have Continuing Education Requirements: Puerto Rico). Unfortunately we do not offer CEs for other professions at this time. However, many professionals have submitted their receipt with Certificate for CEs.
