Sara is a licensed clinical social worker. She discovered her passion for nonprofit work as a teenage volunteer. Her early experience at a camp autistic children inspired her dedication to social work, leading her to earn a BSW from James Madison University and an MSW from Loyola University. With extensive experience supporting autistic individuals across the lifespan, as well as working with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), Sara has held various roles in the nonprofit sector, including Program Leadership, Social Coach, and Development Manager. Since 2017, she has been involved with Diane Gould Therapy, where she serves as a group facilitator and manages administrative tasks for the PEERS® Social Skills Program. Sara began working with PDA North America in 2020 and plays a key role in the day-to-day operations and continued growth of the organization.
