Colleen has over 25 years of experience working in clinical private practice,
and educational settings including public, therapeutic, and private schools.
She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social
work and currently works in private practice as a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker.
Colleen works with children, adolescents, adults, and families with a
specialized focus on neurodivergent clients including those with Anxiety,
Autism, ADHD, academically gifted and twice exceptional. She supports
clients and families with challenges related to emotional regulation, social
skills, parenting, and family relationships.
Current clinical interests have focused on understanding the physiological
basis for emotional and social behaviors using interventions and tools to
improve her client’s understanding of their nervous system based on her
interest in applying Polyvagal Theory in therapy.
Colleen brings both her clinical and business experience as a practice owner,
to her position on the Board of Directors of PDANA.
