With nearly 15 years in the health communication field, Michele Kleinmann provides strategic communication services to biopharmaceutical and non-profit clients. She is particularly passionate about public health, rare diseases, patient advocacy, and leveraging research to drive meaningful awareness and action.
Before becoming an independent consultant, Michele spent ten years at Evoke Kyne (now Inizio Evoke Communications), most recently serving as Senior Vice President. There, she led work across multiple therapeutic areas and sectors. During her tenure, she oversaw Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) surveys on influenza, pneumococcal disease and COVID-19 and managed the annual Influenza/Pneumococcal Disease News Conference in partnership with the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases. Earlier in her career, Michele worked in development and communications in the nonprofit sector.
Michele is also the mother of a PDA autistic child and a co-author of the PDA Experience Report 2025. She is committed to increasing awareness of the PDA profile and expanding the knowledge base to help improve support and outcomes for PDA individuals and their families.
